Honestly, I will probably not ever go that deep, but it's nice to know the option is there.

It goes beyond merely showing you how to analyze data and actually teaches you to code in the Python programming language.

(If anyone from Minitab reads this, a sincere thank you for making your free trial accessible to all. I haven't tried it out yet, but it is probably what I will turn to once my 30 days with Minitab is up.

FYI - the Minitab software is definitely priced for the enterprise if you are at a small-to-midsized company, there are also free tools like XLMiner Analysis ToolPak, a Google Sheets add-on. The software was pretty easy to figure out about 10 minutes' worth of YouTube videos taught me enough to perform my first regression analysis. (Temporarily) free statistical software: Now that I knew the basics of how the model was calculated, I was ready to plug in my numbers and go. Largely because Foltz mentioned it by name in his videos, I downloaded a 30-day free trial of Minitab and used it to perform my calculations. At least, I think that's the technical terminology he used. He explains the phenomenon of "multicollinearity" - namely, that throwing in multiple variables that essentially all measure the same thing produces a hot mess. The biggest thing I learned is that I couldn't take all the variables at my disposal and throw them into a regression analysis and think the computer would magically sort them out. But it's well worth the investment of time. Be warned, each video is about 25 minutes in length. He takes it slow, explains things step by step and helps you visualize the data where possible.
